Mounjaro Injections for Weight Loss
You may of seen the news stories about Mounjaro being prescribed by NHS GP's for weight loss. At present, this has not yet been commissioned in our area, so is not currently available at Oak Tree. The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) are responsible for the provision of this service, and will be rolling this out in due course. In the interim we are not able to prescribe Mounjaro for obesity. You may be eligible for Tier 3 weight management referral through Oviva, but you need to have completed a Tier 2 weight management programme first.
