Flu and Covid Vaccinations
Oak Tree Health Centre is pleased to be offering both Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations this year. We will contact eligible patients shortly with details of our clinic dates and booking arrangements.
By having your vaccination at your GP practice, you'll benefit from receiving your care from our familiar clinical team in a convenient and trusted setting.
Flu Vaccination Eligibility 2026 to 2027
From 1 September 2026
- Pregnant women.
- All children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2026.
- Primary and secondary school-aged children (Reception to Year 11).
- All children in clinical risk groups aged 6 months to under 18 years (as defined in the Green Book).
From 1 October 2026
- Adults aged 65 years and over.
- Adults aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups.
- Residents in long-stay residential care homes.
- Carers in receipt of Carer's Allowance or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person.
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals.
- Frontline social care workers without access to an employer-led occupational health scheme, including eligible workers in residential care, nursing homes, domiciliary care, hospice services and those employed through Direct Payments or Personal Health Budgets.
Autumn/Winter COVID-19 Vaccination Programme
Eligibility for the Autumn/Winter 2026 COVID-19 vaccination programme remains the same as the Spring 2026 campaign.
Eligible cohorts include:
- Adults aged 75 years and over.
- Residents in care homes for older adults.
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book.
The COVID-19 booster campaign will commence on 1 October 2026 and can be safely co-administered alongside the adult flu vaccination.
